Joseph Byron "Joe" Cox, 73, of Hixson, retired captain of the Chattanooga Fire Department, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012.Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Father Charlie Burton officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
