Bonnie Keef

Bonnie Cabe Keef, 83, of Chattanooga went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 from a local hospital after a brief illness.She was born and raised in Chattanooga and of the Christian faith. She lived 65 years in Red Bank. Graduated from Chattanooga Public Schools, attended McKenzie Business College.She was a wife, mother and homemaker as she supported her husband in their business of 25 years.Bonnie loved to read, cook and she never met a stranger. She was an amazing mother and friend to everyone that knew her. Her passion in life was her family and she will be missed greatly.She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Florence Cabe; her beloved husband, Nick G. Keef of 27 years; and four brothers.She is survived by her two daughters, Nicky Atchley, husband Larry, of Cleveland, Nancy Reed, husband Jim, of Hixson; one son, Nick G. "Buddy" Keef, wife Becky, of Harrison; seven grandchildren, Paula (Chris) Knipp, Julie Ann Reed, Lynn (Brian) Dietz, Jennifer (Lee Moser) Keef, Tim (Vanessa) Newby, Mark Atchley and Nathan Reed; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be held at the graveside today at 3 p.m. in the Chattanooga Memorial Park with the Rev. Gary Sears of Mt. Olive Church of God officiating. Interment will follow.The family would like to thank the staff of Erlanger and Hospice of Chattanooga for their comfort and loving care in recent weeks.Arrangements are by Turner Funeral Home, Inc., Highway 58 Chapel 622-3171
