Ozzie Burrow

Earney Oliver "Ozzie" Burrow, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, in a local health care facility.He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley Felton Burrow and Addie M. Burrow; wife, Zelma Burrow; son, John Mosier; three brothers; and a sister.He was a former employee of Tennessee Stove Works, U.S. Pipe and Collegedale Case Work. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in WWII. Ozzie was an avid gardener.He was of the Baptist faith and had a great love for his Savior Jesus Christ.Survivors include his daughter, Wanda Griffith, of Chattanooga; son, Donald Burrow, of Red Bank; 16 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.Please share your thoughts and memories online at www.ChattanoogaValleyViewChapel.com.Arrangements by Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, Valley View Chapel, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
