Bill Lehman

Bill Lehman, 84, of Ooltewah died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012.He was born May 31, 1928 in Chattanooga to the late Christian Albert and Della Underwood Lehman. He was also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.Mr. Lehman was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church and the Mens Sunday School Class. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad.Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Emma Lehman; daughter, Sharon (Kenneth) Vaughan; grandson, Daniel Vaughan; great-granddaughter, Ayden Vaughan; sister, Betty Sue Lehman; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor John Butler officiating.Interment will follow Monday at 11:30 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimers Association, 7625 Hamilton Park Drive, Suite 8, Chattanooga, TN 37421, or to the Silverdale Baptist Church Building Fund, 7236 Bonny Oaks Dr., Chattanooga, TN 37421.Please share your thoughts and memories at www.chattanoogavalleyview.com.Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home, Valley View Chapel, 7414 Old Lee Hwy Chattanooga.
