Lendal Greathouse

Sr.FLINTSTONE Lendal J. Greathouse Sr., 71, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012.He was born in Muhlenberg, Ky. to the late James Archie and Verna Mae McKinney Greathouse. He had been a longtime resident of Walker County and was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Rossville Yarn & Mills with over 20 years of service in industrial maintenance. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening as well.Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by six siblings.He is survived by his wife, Grace Lucile Weeks Greathouse, of Flintstone and their children, Teresa (Brian) Chambers, of Flintstone, Lisa (Allan) Ridley, of Lookout Mountain, Ga., Lendal J. Greathouse, Jr., (Aleshia), Tammy (Ismael) Chavez, Amy (Jeffrey) Williams, all of Flintstone; brothers, Floyd William Greathouse, of High Point, Ga., Paul David Greathouse, of Michigan; twin brother, Glendall A. Greathouse, of Florida, Johnny, of Lookout Mountain, Ga.; sisters, Donna Sanders, of Illinois, Janice Peppers, of Florida; grandchildren, Jeremy Lamont Greathouse, Jamison LaRay Greathouse, Jody Len Greathouse, all of Flintstone, Brooke Phluger, of Chattanooga, Amber and Samantha Ridley, of Lookout Mountain, Ga., Brandi Chambers, Christian and Erik Chavez, Aiden and Andrew Williams, all of Flintstone; great-grandchildren, Jamison Noah Wallace Greathouse and Addison Nicole Greathouse, both of Flintstone.The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. today, all day Saturday and Sunday morning until the service.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 in the chapel.Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Lookout Mountain, Ga.Online register book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Homes, Chickamauga Chapel, Chickamauga.
