Mildred Barbee

Mildred "Shug" Virginia Barbee, 58, of Chattanooga, passed Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, in a local hospital.She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving as an usher and also helping in any way she could. Affectionately known as "Shug" her passion in life was taking care of her family and friends.She was preceded in death by parents, Johnny and Virginia S. Barbee.Mildred is survived by daughters, Karmen G. Barbee, Atlanta, and Kurtanya J. Barbee, of Chattanooga She also leaves to cherish her memories five grandchildren, Melvin, John, Brianna, Adrianna and Kaleb Barbee; one great-grandson, Jesiah along with a host of cousins and dear friends.Funeral: at noon Saturday. Nov. 17, 2012, noon at Galilee Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie R. Jacks officiating.
