Dorothy Friddell

Dorothy Mansel Friddell, 89, Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012.She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and a member of the Temple Baptist Church for more than 50 years. Mrs. Friddell attended the Auditorium Class.She was preceded in death by her parents, Bart and Ethel Elizabeth Hooks Mansel; brothers, Joel and Donnie Mansel; sisters, Gladys Walters and Mary Jo Jordan.Survivors are children, Rose Davis, of Ringgold and Robert Friddell, of Harrison; brothers, Bill and Jack Mansel, of Chattanooga and Jewell Sutherland, of Chattanooga; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.Graveside services were held 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at National Cemetery with Brother Bob McCoy officiating.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort with the family.The family received friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
