Clara McKenzie

Clara Mae McAlister Hastings McKenzie, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012. She was 95 years old.Clara was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area and was of the Methodist faith.Clara is survived by her two children, Jerry (Scottie) Hastings, of Fayetteville, Ga., and Barbara (Johnny) Brown, of Soddy-Daisy; four grandchildren, Tony Hastings, Deanna Hastings, Billy Brown and Tammy Miller; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Viola Bentz. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. today at the North Chapel.Graveside services will follow for Clara at 2:30 p.m. today at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Minister Jerry Clements officiating.
