Lanier Chapman

Lanier Martin Chapman, 64, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012.Mr. Chapman graduated from City High School and served our country in the United States Navy-Vietnam. He and his brother own Brainerd and Wedgewood Dry Cleaners. Lanier loved spending time with his family and he enjoyed the outdoors.He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Betty Chapman.He is survived by wife, Peggy L. Chapman; daughters Andrea and Phil Smith, Carrie Norris, Stacey and Sargent Brandon Guy; son, Seth Lanier and Mallary Chapman; grandchildren, Lauren, Abby, Carson, Madilynn and Presley; brother, Mark D. and Elke Chapman III; several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and his loving aunt, Alice Conner.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Mark Harwood officiating.
