JOHNSON CITY Martha Dayton, 82, entered into rest on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Lakebridge Healthcare Center, Johnson City, Tenn.Mrs. Dayton was born in Nashville, a former resident of Chattanooga and had lived in Johnson City for the past 24 years.She was a daughter of the late Winston Samuel Rose and Alice Emmaline Geer Rose Payne.Mrs. Dayton was a member of Central Church of Christ.She enjoyed needlework, sewing, gardening and loved her church and family.Survivors include her husband, Wiley Reed, Dayton; two daughters, Deborah Farmer and her husband, Rick, Johnson City and Donna Anderson, Nashville; five grandchildren, Brent Farmer, Meghan Daniel, Amy Buselmeier, Rachel Laycock and Matthew Anderson; and eight great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. today, Oct. 14, 2012 until a Celebration of Life Service at 4:30 p.m. at Central Church of Christ. Mr. Tim Hall will officiate.
