Janice Posey

Janice Posey, 63, of Hixson, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 10, 2012.Janice was born and raised in Chattanooga, a member of Signal Mountain Christian Fellowship and was a graduate of Red Bank High School.She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Florene Mays; sister, Patricia Smith; and brothers, Joseph and Gary Mays.Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Michael Posey; daughters, Rhonda (Charles) Womack and Donelle (Jamison) Kidwell; grandchildren, Jamison II, Myka, and Jeremiah; brothers, David (Bridgette) Mays and Bill (Jo) McKinney; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Rev.
