Michael Daniels

DAYTON Michael Arnold Daniels, 57, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, in Chattanooga.He was born March 29, 1955 in Rockwood to the late Loy "Buddy" Daniels and Maxine Houston Daniels. He was also preceded in death by his niece, Aimie Leigh King.A resident of Dayton Mountain all his life, he was a graduate of Rhea Central High School and was a member of the North Dayton Church of God. He was a carpenter, an accomplished drummer and artist. He loved nature and hiking and had great knowledge of the history of the Cherokee Nation.He is survived by his mother, Maxine Daniels, of Dayton Mountain; daughters Cassie (Carl) Brown, of Oak Ridge, Cala (Ben) LeFever, of Harriman and Dianna (Brian) Massengill, of Georgia; brothers, Marc (Joy) Daniels, of Sweetwater and David (Connie) Daniels, of Dayton, Debra King; beloved sister and friend of Evensville; three grandchildren Corben LeFever, Mason Brown and Brianna Massengill; special great-nephews, B.J. and Tyler and great-niece, Paige, lifetime friend Jim Potter and cousins, Alan and Jerry.Funeral services for Michael will be held at 7 p.m.Thursday in the funeral home chapel.
