Perry Neal

GRAYSVILLE Augustus Perry Neal, 73, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012. He was a lifelong resident of Hamilton and Rhea Counties and of the Church of God faith. Perry was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a truck driver for 42 years and retired from Nestle Corporation where he earned several excellent driving awards including the One Million Mile Safety Award. Perry loved his family. He was preceded in death by his dad, Collier Neal; mom, Katie P. Neal; brothers, Carl, Hane, Roddy and Jeff Neal and sister, Martha Hale.Survivors include his sons, Raymond (Lisa) Neal, Duane (Lori) Neal and Brian Neal; brothers, Clarence (Phyllis) Neal; grandchildren, Amy, Nicole and Noah and many nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be Monday, Sept. 24, at 1:30 p.m. at the National Cemetery.
