SCOTTSBORO Larry D. McClure, 67, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Highland Medical Center.He is survived by his wife, Brenda Fugate McClure, of Scottsboro; son, Jason (Margaret) McClure, of Fort Payne; parents, Lester and Maxine Simpson McClure, Spring City, Tenn.; granddaughter, Angela Croft Rahill and Ryan Thwaits, of Fort Payne; great-granddaughter, Marlo Cosette Croft Thwaits, of Fort Payne; two sisters, Carole (Boyd) Wright and Sharon McClure Brown, of Spring City; aunt, Ernestine Simpson , of Spring City; and several nieces and nephews. Special friends, Charles and Janice Arnold, Tommy and Dorothy Jones and John and Diane Brooks.Serving for four years as a proud member of the U.S. Navy.Funeral service was 3 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2013, at Agape Baptist Church.Burial at 1 p.m. EDTtoday, April 23, 2013, in Spring City Cemetery, Tenn.
