Guy Edwin "PaPa" Keith, 90, of Hixson, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.He was a U.S. Army veteran and a bronze medal winner. He was a retired supervisor of the Hamilton County Maintenance Department. He was a member of Daisy Church of God.He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Davidson Keith; parents, Kelly and Ola Keith; sister, Thelma "Tookie" Osborne; and brother, James Kelly Keith Jr.Survivors include his son, Don (Barbara) Myers, of Hixson; daughter, Barbara (Paul Gene ) Shannon, of Hixson; sisters, Effie Boyd, of Hixson, and Carol Tanner, of Red Bank; grandchildren, Laura (Bobby) Wilson and Susan (Keith) Hatfield; great-grandchildren, Robert Donald Wilson, Nicholas Wilson, Clark Hatfield; and several nieces and nephews.Services will be held at 3 p.m. today, April 26, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with the Honorable Judge Clarence Shattuck officiating.Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with military honors. Robert D.
