April Chambers

April Caroline Chambers, 19, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013, in Virginia.April was born March 30, 1994 in Chattanooga, to Kelvin and Nancy Chambers. April had a smile that could light up a room. Her warmth and kindness could be felt by everyone who knew her and she will be deeply missed. She loved going to the beach, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends and her beloved dog, Kiwi.April was preceded in death by her father, Kelvin Chambers; and her maternal grandmother, Joyce Cotham.Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Nancy Chambers; sisters, Kelcy and Savannah Chambers; grandfather, W.B. Chambers; grandmother, Merita (Lawrence) Wilson; aunts, Carolyn Wood, Jeannie (Ken) Fuller and Laurie Cotham; uncle, Gary (Debi) Chambers and aunt, Bobbie Chambers; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.A private service was held Friday, July 19, 2013 in Norfolk, Va. and an open service will be held at 3 p.m. today, Aug. 3, 2013, at Southern Adventist Universitys Talge Hall in Collegedale.
