SOUTH PITTSBURG Mrs. Velma Holtcamp Clay, 80, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 in a Chattanooga hospital.She was preceded in death by her husband, Creston Clay; her parents, William Fred and Laura Bell Boyd Holtcamp; brothers, Ray, Bill, and Jim Holtcamp; and a sister, Nina H. Dent. She was a member of the South Pittsburg Church of Christ.She is survived by her children, Lori and Brian Hawkins, of South Pittsburg; Lance and Mary Lou Clay, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Jeffrey Boyd Clay, of South Pittsburg; her grandchildren, David, Lindsey, Scott, Cody, and Travis; 7 great-grandchildren, her brother, Jack Holtcamp; several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Melba Huffines.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, from the Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, with Ron Gilbert officiating.
