Lestlie Lavern Lattimer (Les) departed this life Wednesday Aug. 21, 2013 in Chattanooga, Tenn.Born: March 31,1925 in Philadelphia, Penn. Preceded in death by his parents Maitland and Thelma Lattimer; and his younger sister Theona McKinnon.Survived by his sister Beaulah Mae Hardy; one son, Martin Craig Lattimer (Doreen); and four daughters Rita Dianne Dickerson (Don), Cheri LaDene Asselin (Walter), Theresa Lee Chester (Ted), and Rashel Dawn Butler ( Jimmy).He was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.He selflessly donated his body to The University of Tennessee at Knoxville for medical research to benefit future generations.Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon Yahweh shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.Job 14:13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret until thy wrath be past, that thou would appoint me a set time and remember me!Psalm 4:8 I will bothe lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Yahweh, only makest me dwell in safety.
