Wilma Douglas

Wilma Fay Douglas, 68, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Nov. 29, 2013. She had lived in the North Georgia area for most of her life and was of the Baptist faith. She had worked as a waitress for most of her life and spent many years at Holders Restaurant in Chattanooga. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Millie Sanders; and her grandson, Anthony Pass. Survivors include her loving husband of more than 45 years, Archie Douglas, of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.; children and spouses, Julie and (Tony) Mitchell, of Henagar, Ala., Leanne Douglas-Nix, of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., Kimberly Pass, of Trenton, Ga., and Randy and (Missy) Douglas, of Ooltewah, Tenn.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Glen and (Sue) Sanders, of Goodletsville, Tenn., Leonard and (Marie) Sanders, of Chickamauga, Ga., and George and (Louise) Sanders, of Dade County, Ga.; four grandchildren, Whitney Mitchell, Walker Douglas, Wyatt Douglas and Cheyenne Douglas; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, Dec. 3, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Bro. Brian Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Chickamauga City Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends after 4 p.m. today, all day Monday and prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements by W. L.
