Johnny Freeman

Johnny Ray "Bone" Freeman, 61, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013. He was preceded in death by his fathers, Claude Freeman and Sanford Hughley; grandparents, Prince Ella Hardy and Hattie Freeman; brothers, Robert Freeman and Claude Mayes; stepsister, Mary Dean. He was born on April 8, 1952 in Chattanooga. He attended Howard High School and is a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Second Baptist Missionary Church. He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted mother Dorothy Huguley: daughters, LaTonya Freeman-Mclain and Princella (Larry) Torrence, all of Chattanooga; two brothers, Edward (Diane) Freeman, of Valdosta, Ga. and William Freeman: stepsisters, Gwendolyn Thomas, of Chattanooga and Sandra Battle, of Wedowee, Ala. He also leaves to cherish his memory: six grandchildren, Jeremy, Michael, Tajae, Jaliah, Nevaeh and Lariah; one great-granddaughter, Jaida; one devoted niece, Chandra Freeman-McFarland and dedicated friend Lee Jones. He was also blessed with an abundance of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends near and far. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, in the chapel.
