Sarah Pelfrey

Sarah Lou Pelfrey, 80, died early Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at Rhea Medical Center. She was born June 10, 1933 in Pikeville to the late Marvin and Pearl Webb Etherton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Henry Pelfrey. A resident of Dayton for the past 30 years, she lived previously in Battle Creek, Mich. She was a homemaker and a member of Salem Baptist Church. She is survived by her six sons, Thomas (Vicki) Pelfrey, Marvin (Rhonda) Pelfrey, Ricky Pelfrey and William Eric Pelfrey, all of Dayton, James Clifford (Lorraine) Pelfrey and Paul Timothy Pelfrey, all of Battle Creek, Mich.; her daughter, Linda Mouliskey, of Dayton; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three brothers; and three sisters. Funeral services for Sarah will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.
