Robert Billups

Robert "Bobby" Billups, 80, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013. He was a faithful member of Church of Jesus. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher and Lucy Billups; daughter, Juliette Billups; brother, Roy Cooper. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Elizabeth Billups; children, Jewel, Robert and Kenneth (Nita) Billups, Josephine (James) Odom, Debra Dave and Amos (Martinique) Williams; sisters, Priscilla Robertson and Maria Watley; brother, Edgar Knight; godson, Fredrico (Francine) Dixon. Funeral services will be held at Noon Tuesday, Dec. 10, at Olivet Baptist Church, Bishop Sims Bledsoe officiating. Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
