Ethel Pyburn

Ethel Mae Dotson Pyburn, 76, died recently at NHC Healthcare in Dunlap after a lingering illness. She was a member of Daus church of Christ. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland and Hazel Helton Dotson; son, Mickey Leon Pyburn; daughter, Debra Goldman; brothers, Charles and Jimmy Dotson. Survivors include her children, Rickey Dotson, North Dakota, Tena Kendall and Sammy Pyburn, Dunlap, and Lisa Hargis, Jasper, Annett Ledford, North Carolina, Charles Ray Pyburn, Hampton, Ga., Sonya Hagan and George Pyburn; sister, Betty Smith, Hixson; brother, Jerry Dotson, Dunlap; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; best friend and caregiver, Lucille Kilgore, Dunlap. Funeral services will be held at noon CST Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, in Ewton Funeral Home chapel with Robert Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens.
