Lucille Keasler

Lucille M. Keasler, 93, of Hixson, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013. Lucille was an active member of Middle Valley Church of God for more than 18 years where she served in the Life Ministries of the church. Lucille was an avid gardener and supporter of the University of Tennessee football. Lucille loved taking care of her grandchildren, and loved canning fruits and vegetables. Lucille is survived by her children, Tom (Jang) Keasler, of Campbell, Calif., Thelma Young of Bakewell, Vickie (Donny) McFarland, of Soddy-Daisy, Grady (Paulette) Keasler Jr., of Hixson, John Keasler, of Monticello, Ga., Cindy (Tom) Sneed, of Hixson; and 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Lucille was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mamie Lee and Thomas Brooks; husband, Grady W. Keasler; and sister, Dorris Young. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. today at the North Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today, Dec. 19, at the North Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev.
