James Newberry

James Ralph Newberry, 69, departed this life Friday, Dec. 20, 2013. He was born in Ringgold, Ga., to the late Ralph Newberry and Ethel Noblett. He was a member of Rossville Tabernacle Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bill Newberry. Survivors include his significant other, Wanda Newberry, of Rossville; stepchildren, Crystal Miller, of Dunlap, James Bice, of Pikeville; siblings, Bo Newberry, of Rock Spring, Pat Prescott, of Tunnel Hill, Edith Smith, Martha Bush, Beverly Lane, Brenda Wint, Tom Noblett, Rita Noblett all of Georgia; 7 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be from 5-9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, with a memorial service at 7 p.m. in the parlor. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & sons Funeral Homes-Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
