Patsy Mitchell

Patsy Marie Mitchell, 79, of Hixson, Tenn., passed away on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013. A native of Cleveland, Tenn., Mrs. Mitchell was a daughter of the late Erb Roy and Maude Ratcliff Battle. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Novis Mitchell. A "Super Mom" to all, she leaves to cherish her memory her children, Rod Mitchell, Sherry Edens, Rodger Mitchell, Robin Mitchell, and Scott Mitchell; grandchildren, Nathan, Lindsay, Lauren, Ryan, Sandy, Cory, and Diamond Mitchell, Richard Edens, Jr., Kelly Ricks, Shaun Tritchler, and Malorie Laukat; great-grandchildren, Gavin Hansen, Cid and Zoey Laukat; sister, Sandra Herr. A funeral ceremony to commemorate her life will be held 1:30 p.m. today, Dec. 26, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow the ceremony in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation today from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
