Clyde Raby

Clyde "Jack" Daniel Raby 85, a wonderful person passed away Tuesday Dec. 24, 2013 with his family by his side. He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was a dedicated member of Harmony Baptist church. Mr. Raby was retired from Stone Container Corp. He follows his wife in death of 54 years, Lula Belle Raby and was the son of the late George and Cecil Jones Raby and was preceded in death by sister Jewel and husband Bob Bryant; One brother Claude and wife June Raby Jr. He leaves to cherish are sons Chris Raby of Ooltewah and Steve (Rose) Raby, of Gulfbreeze, Fla.; daughters Wanda Gillian, of Chattanooga and Patricia (Mark) Robles, of Ringgold, Ga.; sisters, Betty Shelby, of Hixson and Mary Bishop, of Pikeville; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special person Rick Weathers. Funeral services will be Saturday Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Minister Randy Bell officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee Cemetery, Mcdonald, Tenn.
