, Jr.Deward Grady Durham, Jr., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 in a Johnson City, Tenn., hospital. He was 70 years old. He was born on Jan. 19, 1943 in Flintstone, Ga. He retired from Sherman and Riley in Chattanooga.Deward was preceded in death by his parents, Deward Grady and Katherine Marable Durham, Sr.; his wives, Nora Chastain Durham and Peggy Tharpe Durham.Deward is survived by his son, William (Sherri) Chauncey; granddaughter, Heather; step-children, Margie (Hoke Edwards) Cordell, Terry Sellers and Mike (Amy) Sellers; his step-grandchildren, who he adored, Dakota Lively, Michael Sellers, MaKayla Sellers, Andrew Sellers, Erica Sellers, Trinity Sellers, Stephanie Evans and Justina Edwards; ; step great grandsons, Devon Cook and James Evans; uncles, Donald (Marie) and Darrell (Naomi) Hartman;The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the North Chapel.Services for Deward will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the North Chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
