Harley Tate

GRUETLI-LAAGER Harley Cleveland "H.C." Tate died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013.He was a US NAVY Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He was born in Gruetli-Laager, Tenn., on Aug. 8, 1932, to Harley and Bessie Bradey Tate who preceded him in death along with his sister, Laverne Ables.He is survived by his wife, Joan Fletcher Licht Tate; sons, Gary, Grant, Gerald, Joey and Glen Tate; daughters, Felisha (Kapen) Totherow and Lisa Rector; sister, Dola Scissom; grandchildren, Destiney, Gavin, Bailey, Kylie, Alexa, Chasmine, Sierra, Anthony, Jeremy, Mary, Grant and Michael; two great-grandchildren; loving nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Clayton Jones officiating with burial to follow in Fall Creek Cemetery with military honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
