Sharon Rankins

Sharon Rankins, 68, of Chattanooga, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 in a local hospital.A native of Kokomo, Ind., the daughter of the late Charles and Mabel Suits Hatt, she graduated from Kokomo High School. She had lived in Chattanooga since 1988 and retired from BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. She was a member of Lupton Drive Baptist Church and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend.She was also preceded in death by her brother, Bill Hatt.Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Jim Rankins; sons, Chris (Stephanie) Ogle, Brad (Esther) Ogle and Stan (Mindy) Rankins; grandson, Peyton Ogle; granddaughter, Madison Ogle; sister-in-law, Vicki Hatt.Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Brother Randy Bell officiating.
