LaKisha Hambrick, 36, passed away on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, after a brief illness at a local hospital.She leaves to cherish her memories, children, Toneshia, Erick, Ebony , Jerry, Aisha; fathers, Buster Smith and George Buckner; grandson, Caden; longtime companion, AleJandro Cooper; sisters, Valencia Hambrick, Candace Gray and LaTisha Turner; brother, Daniel Turner; aunt, Robin Williams; uncle, Daryl Hambrick; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.Services will be held at noon on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, in the chapel with the Rev. Marva A. Lee.Interment in Highland Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
