Ella I. Burrell, 76, of Chattanooga passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013.Mrs. Burrell was born in Monroe County, Tenn., to John and Hattie Jones. She retired from Gateway Hosiery and was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church where she taught the Bethany Sunday School Class.She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Amos Burrell Sr.; her parents; and brother, Maurice Jones.Survivors include her children, Amos P. (Debbie) Burrell Jr., Sharon E. (Gary) Winnie, Connie J. (Lee) McDade, and John L. (Jennifer) Burrell; grandchildren, Matthew P. Burrell, Gary D. Winnie Jr., Malissa A. Winnie, Evan A. Burrell and Owen P. Burrell; great-grandson, Luke Arlington Burrell; brothers, Richard Jones and Clyde (Jane) Jones; sisters, Iva Lee Jones, Argelina Lindner, Irene (Wade) Lindner, Rosie (Mayford) Debity, Pauline (Joe Dean) Graves and Josephine Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and noon to 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at the funeral home with Rev.
