Brierley Hall

Brierley Hartis Hall, 52, of Hixson, passed away Friday morning, Jan. 11, 2013 after a brief illness. Brierley, affectionately known as "Bibi", was born in Albany, Ga., lived in Rome, started school in Trion and graduated from Gordon Lee High School in 1978. She attended UGA, Georgia College and Chattanooga State, where she obtained training for surgical technology. She worked at Erlanger Medical Center with her surgery "family" until the day she became ill.She was a voracious reader, gifted in stitching and crocheting, baker extraordinaire, avid bowler and sports fan, and knew how "The Tide Rolled." Brierley was preceded in death by her father James R. Hartis and her nephew Alex McNultyShe is survived by her husband, Mickey Hall; and sons, Andrew (Angela) Hall, Chattanooga, Adam Hall, Hixson, mother, Frances Hartis, Fort Oglethorpe; sister, Leigh (Richard) Rogers, Hixson; and her niece, Rachel Rogers, Hixson.A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at The Church of Nativity Episcopal, in Fort Oglethorpe with Rev. Betty Latham, Rev. Buckley Robbins, and Rev. Janice Robbins officiating.
