Imogene Weaver

RINGGOLD Imogene Scruggs Weaver, 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013.She had lived in the North Georgia area for most of her life and was a member of West Park Baptist Church. She absolutely adored children and was Granny to everyone she met. She enjoyed life, spending time with her family, as well as fishing, gardening, attending church and going to the beach. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all that knew her.She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Weaver; great-grandson, Ryan Campbell and several siblings.Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Roy Dale and (Kristy) Scruggs, of Ringgold, Ga.; chosen daughter in her heart and husband, Kay and (Gary) Magin, of Rossville, Ga.; brothers and sister-in-law, Frank and (Sarah) Williams and Robert Williams all, of Rising Fawn, Ga.; grandchildren, Misty Scruggs, Jereme Scruggs, Joey Scruggs, Jonathan Scruggs, Chanel and (Andy) Touchstone, Angel Dobbins, Lee and (Carrie) Sutton, DeAnna and (David) Caronna, Brandon and (Brittany) Callahan, Shane Magin and Gary Magin; several great grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. David Taylor officiating. Burial will be held at 4:30 p.m. in Hanna Cemetery in Rising Fawn, GA. The family will begin receiving friends after 2 p.m. today and prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga for their care and concern for Mrs. Weaver.
