Bess Koplan

Bess Epstein Koplan passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013.She was the daughter of the late Ben and Annie Epstein. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Joseph A. Koplan; her twin sister, Rose Cohen; and her grandson, Marty Koplan.Survivors include her sons, Gary (Novella) Koplan, David (Brenda) Koplan and Ron (Anne) Koplan; grandchildren, Ben (Kristina) Koplan, Karen Koplan and Joanna Nash; great-grandchildren are Austin and Zachary Koplan, Avery Rose and Landon Wilhite; and Joseph and Jacob Nash; as well as many nieces and nephews.She was a graduate of Central High School and McKenzie School of Business. She worked at the Credit Bureau of Chattanooga and then assisted her husband in his various businesses. She was a lifetime member of Hadassah and a lifelong member of Bnai Zion Congregation.She will be laid to rest with graveside services at Bnai Zion Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27.Please share your thoughts and memories at www.chattanoogaeast chapel.com.Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home East Chapel, 404 S.
