Kenneth Broom

Kenneth L. Broom, 63, of East Ridge, passed away Saturday July 6, 2013 in a local hospital.Mr. Broom was a graduate of Ringgold High School, class of 1967. He was employed as an account executive for Fairway Outdoor for more than 30 years. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and playing golf. His passion in life was taking care of his family that he loved so much.He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy Blevins Broom.He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Patti Patton Broom; son, Corey (Heather) Broom, Atlanta; daughter, Kerri (Chris) Stock, Chattanooga; grandson, Owen Stock; brothers, Rev. Bill Broom, James Broom, Rick Broom, and Tommy Broom; sister, Linda Langston; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday July 9, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mark Smith officiating.
