LaFAYETTE Barbara Stoker Lankford, 72, a loving mother went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 23, 2013.Preceded in death by her husband, Bobby S. Lankford; parents, Annie Stoker Lankford and Thomas Eugene Stoker.Survived by daughters, Jerrie Owens, of LaFayette, Sandra and Jeff Payne, of Cedar Bluff, Ala., Patty and Roger Jackson, Diane and Michael Gaskey; son, Michael and Melissa Lankford, all of LaFayette; sisters, Bette Fay Middleton, of Lynn Haven, Fla., Ann and Duck Brown, of LaFayette and Elizabeth and Carl Whitt, of Douglasville; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel at noon Thursday. Conducted by the Rev. Joe Dodd.Pallbearers are Mark Jackson, Cody Gaskey, Allen Lankford, Terrell Lankford, Scott Samples and Josh Potter.Honorary pallbearers are Roger Jackson, Michael Gaskey, Jeff Payne and Josh Middleton.Interment in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. today and all day Wednesday.The arrangements are by Wallis Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
