Bill Roessel

William A. Roessel, 90, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013, in a local health care facility.He was the son of the late Lawrence and Mary Roessel and was preceded in death by his daughter, Joyce Roessel; brother, Lawrence Roessel; and sister, Marion Hartman.Bill was a veteran of the United States Army having served his country during WWII. He retired as manager of Industrial Valley Title Co.He was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Claire Roessel; son, Craig (Elsie) Roessel; two grandsons, Robert Roessel, Scott (Valerie) Roesse; four great-grandchildren, Hayden, Madison, Hannah, Landon, all of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Carolyn Roessel, of Chapel Hill, N.C., and brother-in-law, Harold Hartman, of Greenwood Lakes, N.Y.Funeral services will be held noon Friday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev.
