Lucille Young

ROSSVILLE Hannah "Lucille" Smith Young, 85, went home to be with her Lord, on Saturday, March 2, 2013.She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, Rossville. Lucille was a waitress for Roys Restaurant, Fort Oglethorpe, loved her tomato garden, crocheting and her favorite singer, Elvis.Lucille was preceded by her husband, Henry Paul Young; parents, Sherman and Annie Hixon Smith; daughter, Kathy Paulette Young; and eight brothers and sisters.She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Butch) Hamilton of Florida; three brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Angel (Tim)Miller, Dea (Harold) Ballew and Wil Sells; great-grandchildren, Dallas, Hannah, Timothy Jr., James and Faith.The funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Bennett officiating.Interment will follow in John M. Hixon Cemetery, Dunlap, Tenn. The family will receive friends after 2 p.m. today and prior to the service on Wednesday. Arrangements by W.L.
