TRACY CITY George Leon Blauch, 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013.He was born Aug. 31, 1932 in Short Gap, W.Va., to Bruce Fay and Ethel McKenzie Blauch, who preceded him in death along with: his sisters, Evelyn Hiett and Margaret Ward; his brothers, Haven, John, Homer, Thomas and Bruce Jr.He is survived by his wife, Doris Blauch; his son, James Blauch and wife, Kathie, of Hudson, Mass.; his grandchildren, Luke and Nick, of Harvard, Mass.; his stepson, Hector Ayende and wife, Mary Ann, of McMinnville; his stepgrandchildren, Sierra and Jacob, of McMinnville; his sisters, Loretta Thomas and Darlene Gulino, both of Short Gap, W.Va.Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 in the Layne Funeral Home chapel, Palmer, Tenn., with Jose Bonet officiating.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George Blauchs memory to the local historical society in Mineral County where he was born and raised; and caretakers of Georges grandfathers historical log cabin house.
