JASPER Willie Sue Nunley Dodson, 78, The beautiful Sue, went home Thursday, May 2, 2013.She was preceded in death by her husband, Lankford Dodson; son, David Dodson; parents, Minnie and Albert Nunley; brother, Albert "Junior" (Virginia) Nunley; and parents-in-law, Arkie and Willie Dodson.Left to cherish her memories are a brother, James Wesley "J.W "(Alice) Nunley; sons, Leland and Freddie (Nita) Dodson; daughters, Linda Dodson, Wanda(Marty) Deakins, Jannie Stanfield and Joey (Lester) Roberts; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Okee Dodson; one aunt, Virgie Anderson; an uncle, Charles Nunley; and numerous nieces and nephews.After raising her children, Sue worked at several restaurants, lastly at The Pine Crest in Kimball. She often met her friend for coffee at Hardees and Waffle House.The family is dearly grateful for the care and assistance received from longtime friend, Patsy Crowe; and daughter-in-law, Nita DodsonThe family will receive friends from noon until 9 p.m. CDT on Friday, May 3, 2013 and from 10 a.m. CDT until time of the service on Saturday.Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CDT, Saturday, May 4, 2013, with Brother John Whitaker officiating.
