Mildred Alsip

Mildred Alberta Alsip, 82, of Chattanooga, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, May 6, 2013.She was born in Whitley County, Ky. to the late Craig and Bessie Williams.She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ben Alsip; and her siblings, Dale, Tony, Arlis, Georgie and Phyllis Williams.Survivors include her children, Linda Freylach, of Dalton, Bobby (Robbin) Alsip, of Jasper, Tenn., Billie (Donnie) Dunaway, Tonia Nunley, Teresa (David) Cromer; brother-in-law, Charles (Judy) Alsip, all of Lookout Valley; siblings, Bert (Frances) Williams of Corbin, Ky.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2013, in the chapel with Pastor Larry Marlin officiating.Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, West.Family will receive friends after 5 p.m. today.Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes, Fort Oglethorpe.
