Buddy Sartain

Buddy (Howard T.) Sartain, 61, of Chattanooga, went home to his heavenly home Wednesday, May 8, 2013, after a long battle with cancer.He was born April 15, 1952 in Talladega, Ala., to the late Howard and Virginia Sartain.He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and worked as an electrician with IBEW Local #175 and was in electrical sales for many years. Buddy was a loving husband, father and friend. He never met a stranger and was kind to everyone. He loved playing music and played in several bands in the Chattanooga area. We are so thankful God has been with us all the way. We will see him again one day on the other side.He leaves behind his loving wife of 20 years, Linda; son, Trey; sister, Pat (Reid) Montgomery, of Bluffton, S.C.; sister-in-law, Jeanie (Corey) Hilburn; brother-in-law, Richard (Miriam) Gossett; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today, May 10, 2013, at the East Brainerd Chapel in celebration of his life.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
