Cortney Keasler

Cortney Paul Jefferson Keasler, 36, of Hixson passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 while hiking the Appalachian Trail (trail name Biscuit) in Virginia. He was a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Paul Rogers and paternal grandfather, Grady W. Keasler, Sr.Survivors include his parents, Grady W. Keasler, Jr. and Paulette Rogers Keasler of Hixson; daughter, and the love of his life, Whitley Diana Keasler, of Soddy-Daisy; sisters, Shane (Jay) Haggard, of Hixson and Shera (Todd) Neel, of Hixson; brother, Grady W. "Trey" Keasler III; special uncle, Everette A. Rogers of Lakesite; best friend, Robert "Robby" Austin of Tiftonia; maternal grandmother, Martha Lee Rogers, of Hixson; paternal grandmother, Lucille Keasler of Hixson; nephews, Hunter Neel, Blake Haggard and Cooper Haggard; niece, Haley Neel.The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Services and interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous.
