Sylvester Lee Combs, 81, of Chattanooga, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013.Lee had a loving sweet spirit He loved the Lord and his family. He loved going to Eastgate to walk and to Krispy Kreme for coffee and doughnuts. He had a terrific memory and enjoyed anything weather related, especially maps he also enjoyed reading.He was born Feb. 13, 1932 in Ooltewah the son of the late Wilbur Crocket Combs and Rosa Smith Combs.He was preceded in death by his sisters, Anna Smith Ramsey, Marie Reynolds, Frankie Harris and Faithe Dutto.Survivors include a niece, Anna M. (Shawn) Tilley; great-niece, Faithe Tilley; nieces and nephews in California and Cleveland.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 17 at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Harkins officiating.Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 Friday morning.Memorial donations may be made to Richard Harkins Ministry, Inc. at P.O.
