RINGGOLD Latrica "Trisha" Hartman Evans, 50, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at her residence. She was born in Perry, Okla. on Sept. 17, 1962 and had lived most of her life in Ringgold. She was a 1981 graduate of Hixson High School and she attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she was active in the Baptist Student Union.She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Hartman, of Perry, Okla.; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Powers, of Tonkawa, Okla.Survivors include her parents, Bill and JoAn Hartman, of Ringgold; brother, Todd (Karen) Hartman, of Ringgold, nieces, Kristen (Jody) Hartman Peace, of Acworth, Ga., and Kathryn Hartman, of Ringgold; aunt, Wanda (Max) Webb, of Tonkawa, Okla., and uncle, Joe (Lindy) Hartman, of Elkhart, Kan.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at jdrf.org or to the American Cancer Society at 200 W Emery St., Ste 3 Dalton, GA 30720.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.A Celebration of Life will be held today at 7:30 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home South Crest Chapel with Rev.
