Lenora Page

Va. Lenora Harris Page, 91, a native of Powells Point, N.C., and Poquoson resident for 73 years, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 and Heaven received another angel. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Poquoson, serving in the Chancel Choir, Trinity Fundraisers, the United Methodist Women, and the Marion Page Circle. She was a member of AGLOW. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking, and lunches with the ladies. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. Miss Lenora was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Obediah "Obie" Page; parents, Dora and Noah Harris; sister, Marie Jordan; and brother, Claude Harris. She is survived by her children, Gloria Page Hamly and husband, Richard, Larry Obediah Page and wife Edie, and Cathy Page Blount and husband Timothy; grandchildren, Angie Page Rinck, Mandy Lee Page Jones, Raif Sebastian Hastings, and Taylor Woodard Bount; great-grandchildren, Blake Ashton Brantley, Sydney Marie Rinck, Baylor John Rinck, Spencer Alexander Hastings, Julie Ellis, and Grace Jones; brother-in-law, Estrich Woodard "Junie" Page; sister-in-law, Vernell Page Edwards; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church, immediately followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. in the church by Rev. Charles R. Stacy and Rev. Milford C. Rollins. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton. At other times, the family will be at her home.
