Charles Elbon

Charles Robert Elbon Sr., 76, passed away Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, in a local nursing home in Denham Springs, La. He was born in Chattanooga on Nov. 7, 1937. He was a veteran in the United States Army during the Berlin Crisis. He was preceded in death by wife, Betty Coffelt Elbon; infant daughter, PJ Elbon; mother, Bernice Elbon; father, James H. Elbon; and brother, James H. Elbon Jr. Survived by son, Chuck Elbon; sisters, Margaret Elbon and Pat Crouch; brother, Sam Elbon; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be at noon Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at Oaknoll Cemetery in Rome, Ga.
