Jane Knox

Gloria Jane Knox, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013. Jane was born in Bridgeport, Ala., and raised in Chattanooga. She graduated from Central High School and attended the University of Chattanooga. She was a homemaker and a member of OLPH Catholic Church. Surviving are her children, Tammie Sims, Cindy (Ben) Hornsby and John (Stephanie) Knox; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Judy Burnette McRae and Linda Burnette Cole. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Curtis Knox, Sr.; sons, Jimmie Curtis Knox, Jr. and Sam Knox; daughter, Samantha Knox; parents, Raymond and Rena Burnette; and brother, Raymond Richard Burnette, Jr. Memorial services for the family and friends will be announced.
