Rhonda Wasson

Rhonda Wasson, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013. She was born to the late Beattie Mae and O.C. Heath, Sr. on Aug. 1, 1953. She attended Chattanooga Public Schools including Orchard Knob Junior High School, and she was a graduate of Riverside High School. She confessed Christ and was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She was previously employed by Parkwood Health Center and Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Beattie and O.C. Heath; sister, Evelyn Laverne Bullard; nephew, Anthony Eugete Bullard. She leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Julian (Tara) Wasson and Jarmell (LaStarsha) Wasson; brothers, Stanley (Patricia) Heath, of California, O.C. Heath Jr. and Undray Heath, both of Chattanooga; devoted soul mate, Steven Sherrod; goddaughter, Latasha Beard; grandchildren, Desmon, Lavontate, Julian, Isaiah, Janicqua; great-grandchildren, JaMiyah and Journey; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, in the funeral home chapel. Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens. The body will lie in state after noon today and the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. this evening at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
